Lewis & Clark Law Visiting Professor attended a listening to on the International Criminal Court as a member of her legal team invited to current views to the Judges on a Ugandan warlord’s appeal of his convictions for compelled marriage of women and girls and different crimes in opposition to humanity. The Criminal Justice Reform Clinic and its students, engaged on the difficulty of nonunanimous jury convictions, advocated for a state law to give these convicted by nonunanimous jury in the past the best to petition to have their instances vacated. Kenyan Franklin Lagat mentioned this system expanded his information in environmentalism and wildlife law substantially. “Judge Stoll has already established herself as an amazing Judge on the Federal Circuit and we are very lucky that she is now willing to share her expertise and insights both with our IPAC and our college students,” stated Dean Dayna Bowen Matthew.
